据ESI（Essential Science Indicators, 基本科学指标数据库）的最新数据显示，山东大学山东发展研究院、经济研究院李爱军博士为通讯作者的学术论文“Regional energy efficiency, carbon emission performance and technology gaps in China: A meta-frontier non-radial directional distance function analysis”入选 “社会科学”领域ESI-Hot Paper，该论文发表在Energy Policy（Volume 84, September 2015, Pages 142-154）。 

  ESI是基于SCI（Science Citation Index）和SSCI（Social Science Citation Index）所收录的全球11000多种学术期刊1000多万篇文献而建立的分析数据库。ESI-Hot Papers （热点论文）是指近2年内发表并且在最近2个月内具有很高被引用次数的ESI论文，每个领域的前0.1%的论文得以入选ESI-Hot Papers。
