Hosted by The Center for Economic Research，Shandong University、College of Economics，Zhejiang University，co-hosted by School of Law，Sun Yat-Sen University, the 2007“Chinese Law and Economics Forum”was held at Lingnan Hall, Sun Yat-Sen University on May 13-14,2007. Over 100 experts and scholars from Chinese famous universities and research institutes,such as Peking University、Fudan University、Shandong University、Zhejiang University、Xiamen University、The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences，etc，also including those who came from Taiwan and Hong Kong，attended the conference.

Professor Shanan Huang,the President of SDUCER, made a representative speech,and introduced the organizing and hosting arrangement of the Forum,etc.

The“Chinese Law and Economics Forum”was initiated by professor Huang (the Director of SDUCER ) and professor Shi (the Executive Vice President of the College of Economics ,Zhejiang University),and held annually. Shandong University and Zhejiang University rotates as the first sponsor of the Forum.Up to 2007,the Forum has been successfully held for 5 times.
