Shaoan Huang, Male, was born in 1962, Hunan Province, China. PhD’s Degree of Economics. Professor Huang is Yangtze River Scholar of Ministry of Education in China; dean of the Center for Economic Research currently; expert of theoretical economics group at academic degree committee of state council in China and National Social Sciences Fund; initiator of the Research Institute of Property Rights and the Center for Economic Research of Shandong University; founder of magazine. Professor Huang is one of the key organizers and leaders of property right theory, institutional economics, and economics of the law research and discipline construction.

Professor Huang graduated from Shaoyang College in 1982 (received college diploma), and then works in Shandong University after graduation from Xiamen University in 1994 (received PhD in economics). He was exceptional promoted as a lecturer in 1987, and was exceptional promoted as a Professor in 1994. Professor Huang was accepted in Class 1 and 2 of “BAIQIANWAN Talent Project” of Ministry of Personnel of China in 1999, and excellent KUASHIJI Talent of Ministry of Education of China in 2000 and the excellent youth teacher prize (teaching and research encouragement project) awarded by Ministry of Education of China in 2001.

Major research areas are property rights theory, Theory of enterprise, institutional economics and rural economies. Professor Huang has published monographs such as , a series of important papers onSocial Sciences in ChinaandEconomic Research Journal. He also obtained the Sun yefang Economics Prize awarded by Sun yefang Foundation of Economics; the 1st China Countryside Development Prize awarded by Foundation for China Countryside Development and other national awards.
